NOMINATIONS FOR APPOINTMENTS TO THE OPIOID SETTLEMENT ADVISORY COMMITTEE. BASED ON THE ROTATION SYSTEM, THE NOMINATIONS FOR APPOINTMENTS WILL BE MADE IN THE FOLLOWING ORDER; COMMISSIONER TOM MARKERT (SEAT #1), VICE-MAYOR LONG (SEAT #2), COMMISSIONER CASALE (SEAT #3), DEPUTY VICE-MAYOR BURNS (SEAT #4) AND MAYOR CARNEY (SEAT #5).

Motion to approve the nominations of five (5) members to the Opioid Settlement Advisory Committee (OSAC).
Body
Background:
The OSAC shall meet to review the needs of the community and recommend to the City Commission how to expend Opioid Litigation Settlement Funds.
The OSAC shall be comprised of seven (7) members who shall meet the following qualifications:
i. One (1) member representing the City of Delray Beach Police Department.
ii. One (1) member representing the City of Delray Beach Fire Department.
iii. One (1) member who is a State of Florida Licensed Mental Health Professional.
iv. One (1) member who is a State of Florida Licensed Healthcare Professional.
v. One (1) member who is a State of Florida Certified Addiction Professional, Certified Addiction Counselor, or Certified Recovery Peer Specialist.
vi. Two (2) at-large members who are residents of the City of Delray Beach
