Motion to approve an underground utility easement in favor of Florida Power & Light (FPL), for a portion of property located within the City of Delray Beach WTP located at 200  SW 6th St, Delray Beach, FL 33444.

 

Body

Background:

An easement in favor of FPL will allow construction, operations, and maintenance of underground electric utility facilities (including cables, conduits, appurtenant equipment and appurtenant above ground equipment) to be installed, with the right to reconstruct, improve, add, to, enlarge, change the voltage as well as the size of, and remove such facilities within the easement. Refer to Exhibit “A” (“Easement Area”).

 

City Attorney Review:

Approved to form and legal sufficiency.

 

Funding Source/Financial Impact:

Please include a comprehensive and complete fiscal analysis of the item and full justification.

 

Timing of Request:

This request and timing is of high importance to allow the project to continue construction of new WTP.
