Motion to Approve an amendment to extend the Agreement with Dubin & Associates, Inc. for Delray Beach Municipal Tennis Center and Delray Swim and Tennis Club Management Agreement until award of a new Agreement or June 30, 2017, whichever occurs first.

Background:
On September 25, 2004, City Commission approved the award of an agreement for Delray Beach Municipal Tennis Center and Delray Swim and Tennis Club Management. On September 22, 2016 the City Manager extended the Agreement for a period of ninety days, extending the contract term through December 31, 2016. On January 10, 2017 Commission approved an additional extension on the Agreement through February 28, 2017. Due to the complexity of the agreement, negotiations have not been completed. Staff is requesting an extension of this Agreement through the award of a new Agreement or June 30, 2017, whichever occurs first, to allow the City ample time to complete negotiations and enter into a new Agreement for Delray Beach Municipal Tennis Center and Delray Swim and Tennis Club Management.
This recommendation complies with the City Code of Ordinances, Chapter 36, Section 36.07 (A)(2), "Extensions".
The agreement will be provided at the City Commission meeting on March 1, 2017.

Funding Source:
Funding is available from account number 001-4210-575-34.90 (General Fund: Other Contractual Services).
Timing of Request:
This agreements expired on February 28, 2017 and must be renewed so that management services can continue.
