Motion to Award a purchase to Stingray Chevrolet in the amount of $37,799 for one(1) Chevrolet Tahoe Police Utility Vehicle.

Background: 
Environmental Services is requesting approval to purchase one(1) new Chevrolet Tahoe Police Utility Vehicle for a new K9 unit of the Police Department. The purchase from Stingray Chevrolet will be through the Florida Sheriff’s Association contract #15-23-0904, specification #8. The new vehicle will be a replacement for a 2007 Crown Victoria Patrol car with 114,149 miles. The Police Department is adding a K9 unit. The Chevrolet Tahoe will be a replacement for a patrol car.  
 
This purchase is in accordance with the Code of Ordinances, Chapter 36, Section 36.02(C)(7)(a), "Utilization of Other Governmental Entities' Contracts".
