Recommended Action:

Recommendation

Consideration of the following items:

Item A1 - Motion to approve and grant an Underground Easement to Florida Power and Light by the City of Delray Beach.

Body

Background:

Item A1

Consider granting of an Underground Easement Agreement on City of Delray Beach owned property located at 1025 Mission Hill Road, Boynton Beach to Florida Power and Light (FP&L).

FP&L requested an Underground Easement on the subject property, which is owned by the City of Delray Beach and leased to the Police Benevolent Association, to complete undergrounding of electrical service in this area. It was determined that an easement would be needed to allow access to utilities on this property. As a result, an easement agreement was created.

There is no City cost now or in the future for these items.
