Title

APPROVAL OF ADDITIONAL SPENDING AND CONTRACT INCREASE WITH REP SERVICES, INC. FOR PARK EQUIPMENT AND PARTS AT MIKE MACHEK PARK IN THE AMOUNT OF $24,699.76 FOR A REVISED CONTRACT VALUE OF $159,564.45

Body

Recommended Action:

Recommendation

Motion to approve additional spending and a contract increase to the Master Services Agreement with REP Services, Inc. for Park Equipment and Parts at Mike Machek Park in the amount of $24,699.76 for a revised contract amount of $159,565.45.

Body

Background:

On September 15, 2025 the City Commission approved Resolution No. 185-25 authorizing a Master Contractor/Services Agreement with REP Services, Inc. for Park Equipment and Parts utilizing Clay Count ITB in the Amount of $134,865.69 for a Pavilion replacement at Mike Machek Park.

It was determined that the existing concrete slab requires replacement to properly complete the pavilion installation and the original quote did not account for a concrete slab replacement.

These improvements are funded through the General Obligation Bond allocated for park enhancement projects.

This motion is in accordance with the City Code of Ordinances, Section 36.02 and City Policies, Change Orders and Amendments.
