Title

HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT FOR 1615 S CONGRESS AVENUE AND 1625 S CONGRESS AVENUE

Body

Recommended Action:

Recommendation

Consideration of the following Hold Harmless Agreement for installation of new 16-inch insertion valve on City's water main located within the State Right-of-Way for proposed new Delray Central Development Project located at 1615 S Congress Avenue and S Congress Avenue.

Body

Background:

Motion to approve and accept Hold Harmless Agreement in favor of the City due to Owner, G&C Arbors Investors, LLC proposing to install a new 16-inch insertion valve on the City’s water main which is located within the State Right-of-Way. The proposed new valve is intended to provide the Delray Central Development Project with the ability to isolate a portion of the City’s water main so that it can be relocated. As a result, a utility permit from the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is required as the City will be maintaining that part of the service within the FDOT right-of-way, FDOT requires that the City sign the permit application.

There is no City cost now or in the future for this item.
