Motion to approve Resolution No. 95-24 to award an Agreement with LexisNexis Risk Solutions FL, Inc. for public safety subscription services needed for investigation purposes, utilizing State of New York Contract #PC69933 in the amount not to exceed $100,000 and authorize the City Manager to approve renewal options, in the amounts below, contingent upon the appropriation of funds.

Background:
The City of Delray Beach (City) Purchasing Policies Manual allows for contracts to be awarded by accessing the goods or services from any State of Florida contract, contracts from any subdivisions, other County and municipal contracts, or from any other governmental entity (other than the Federal government, with the exception of several GSA schedules), and from Not-For-Profit Organizations; provided the item or service is not available through an existing City contract, and was competitively solicited.

The Police Departments is requesting approval to utilize the State of New York Contract #PC69933 which will provide for a time and cost-effective method for public safety subscription services needed for investigation purpose such as phone searches, phone mapping, etc., in the not-to-exceed amount of $40,000 for the term of the contract through August 31, 2027.

Should the City exercise the renewal options provided in the contract, the cumulative projected contract value is provided below.
