BASED ON THE ROTATION SYSTEM, THE NOMINATION FOR APPOINTMENT OF ONE (1) REGULAR MEMBER TO SERVE AN UNEXPIRED TERM ENDING JULY 31, 2027, WILL BE MADE BY MAYOR CARNEY (SEAT #5).

Motion to approve the appointment of one (1) regular member to serve an unexpired term ending July 31, 2027.

Background:

Due the resignation of Nancy Channin, a seat on the board is vacant. 

 

Pursuant to Sec. 32.62. - Code of Ordinances - COMPOSITION

 

The Police Advisory Board shall be composed of five (5) regular members.

 

Pursuant to Sec. 32.64. - Code of Ordinances -  QUALIFICATIONS OF MEMBERS.

 

(A) The Police Advisory Board membership shall include a diverse cross-section of the community representing a variety of perspectives and experiences across all demographic groups.

(B) The membership shall include business owners, religious and faith-based organizations, youth, school officials and local organizations, where feasible.
