APPROVAL OF THE NON-IMPACT EVENT KNOWN AS "DELRAY ROCKS FOOTBALL" TO BE HELD ON VARIOUS DATES AUGUST THROUGH OCTOBER 2025 AT HILLTOPPER STADIUM; AND TO AUTHORIZE THE SPECIAL EVENTS MANAGER TO TAKE ALL ACTIONS NECESSARY TO EFFECTUATE THE SPECIAL EVENT PERMIT.

Recommended Action:
Special Events Technical Advisory Committee (SETAC) recommends the Development Services Management Group (DSMG) make a motion to approve the special event known as Delray Rocks Football to be held on various dates August through October 2025; and authorize the Special Event Manager (SEM) to take all actions necessary to effectuate the Special Event Permit.

Background:
Delray Rocks Youth Football submitted a Special Event Application on April 16, 2025 for the 2025 season of Delray Rocks Football to be held on various dates August through October 2025. Delray Rocks football has been around for over 20 years in Delray Beach. The games take place at Hilltopper Stadium with attendance at about 400 people per date. They will have cooking on site and food trucks at the games. The games begin at 8am and will run through about 9pm each date. The parking plan, site map and schedule is attached in the back up.

SETAC recommends DSMG approve the event.
No special conditions are recommended by SETAC

Anticipated costs are to be determined.

The season is quickly approaching and they need to know if it is approved.
