Background:
Junior Achievement of South Florida (JA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preparing young people for success in a global economy through programs focused on financial literacy, workforce readiness, entrepreneurship, and career development. Through partnerships with schools, businesses, volunteers, and local governments, JA provides hands-on learning experiences that equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in their future academic and professional endeavors. Representatives from Junior Achievement of South Florida will provide the City Commission with an overview of the organization's mission, current programming, and opportunities for collaboration within the City of Delray Beach. The presentation will highlight educational initiatives available to Delray Beach students, including classroom-based programming, experiential learning opportunities, career exploration activities, and financial literacy education. Additionally, Junior Achievement will discuss potential funding and partnership opportunities that may be available to support program expansion and increase student participation.
