The City Attorney recommends denial of the settlement offer for the reasons discussed in the confidential memorandum previously distributed to the City Commission dated April 29, 2019.

Background:
This agenda item requests the Commission to consider an offer made by the Plaintiff in the above-referenced case number to settle his pending case against the City. On April 19, 2019, Plaintiff made an Offer in the amount of $300,000 to settle his case. This case has been sealed by the Court and, accordingly, Plaintiff’s name is not subject to disclosure at this time.
