Background:

WiseTribe wishes for the City of Delray Beach to join them, the United States and over 150 other countries around the world to proclaim October 16th as World Food Day. WiseTribe is an educational, nonprofit that empowers individuals and engages citizens through collaborative learning opportunities. WiseTribe strives to strengthen the wellbeing and sustainability of Delray Beach, with a particular focus on hunger and to find food solutions. WiseTribe worked with Carver Middle School students and the citizens of Delray Beach to create this proclamation as an action item to address hunger in our own community, as well as recognizing the impact and tragedy of hunger around the world.
