Motion to Approve the Mutual Aid Agreement between the Florida Gaming Control Commission, Division of Gaming Enforcement and the City of Delray Beach to enhance cooperation in combating illegal gambling and related criminal activity throughout the State of Florida.

Background:
Mutual aid agreements permit voluntary cooperation and assistance of a routine law enforcement nature allowing agencies to tackle problems crossing typical jurisdictional lines. This Mutual Aid Agreement between the Florida Gaming Control Commission, Division of Gaming Enforcement and the City of Delray Beach enables the parties to aid one another and jointly endeavor to detect, investigate, apprehend, make arrests, and otherwise combat illegal gambling and all related criminal activities throughout this state. The term of the agreement is three (3) years with an option to extend up to two (2) additional years.
