Motion to Approve Resolution No. 128-24 to award an Agreement to Mainguy Environmental Care, Inc. for Landscape Maintenance Services for Stormwater Retention Areas pursuant to Invitation to Bid (ITB) 2024-026 in the amount of $536,760.
Body
Background:
On April 10, 2024, the City issued ITB 2024-026 to maintain seventeen (17) stormwater retention areas and landscape maintenance which consist of approximately 13.45 acres throughout the City. The scope of work requires the awarded firm to trim, mow, spray, prune, and edge the retention areas.
On May 1, 2024, the City received two (2) submittals pursuant to ITB 2024-026. The bid submitted by Mainguy Environmental Care, Inc. was deemed responsive and responsible per the bid requirements.

2. Florida Lawn and Tree Service LLC $ 109,778.04
Therefore, staff recommends awarding the landscape maintenance contract to Mainguy Environmental Care, Inc. in the base bid price of $107,352.00.
The initial term is three (3) years with two (2) one-year options for renewal. Should the City exercise all renewal options provided in the agreement, the cumulative agreement value is priced below:
