Motion to approve an award to Troxell Communications, Inc., utilizing Lee County School District Contract R127035JM, for technology upgrades in the Commission Chambers and Conference Room of City Hall, at a cost not to exceed $58,895.00.

Background:
The Information Technology Department is requesting approval to use Lee County School District Contract R127035JM to upgrade the City Hall Commission Chambers and Conference Room with new technology equipment. This new equipment includes a new lectern, televisions, microphones, speakers, and other hardware necessary to complete the install.
This award is in accordance with Code of Ordinances Sections 36.02(C)(7) “Utilization of Other Governmental Entities’ Contracts.”
Troxell Communications, Inc. has confirmed that prices offered to the City of Delray Beach are the lowest prices offered to any other governmental entity within the State of Florida.
Current fiscal year 2016 spending with this vendor is $0.00.
