Approve the Work Assignment for Landscape Architect Services with AGTLAND, P.A., for the property located at 135 NW 5th Avenue.

Background:
On May 30, 2024, the CRA Board approved a Continuing Consulting Services Agreement with AGTLAND, P.A. to provide Landscape Architectural Services.
Following the approval of the Agreement, CRA staff reached out to AGTLAND, P.A. to provide a proposal for Landscape Architectural Services for the Subject Property located at 135 NW 5th Avenue - just off West Atlantic Avenue located along Historic NW 5th Avenue commercial corridor within “The Set”, and within the West Settlers Historic District of the City of Delray Beach. The Subject Property is a mixed-use two-story building comprised of two (2) CRA-owned first-floor commercial units and four (4) privately owned residential condominiums. The CRA-owned first-floor commercial units front NW 5th Avenue where the exterior landscaping improvements will be placed.
The CRA’s Community Redevelopment Plan (Plan) identifies the NW/SW 5th Avenue corridor within the NW & SW 5th Avenue Beautification Project #2.1 (Project #2.1). The objective of Project #2.1 is to revitalize the NW & SW 5th Avenue corridor into a thriving district for neighborhood businesses and cultural activities with the strategic provision of diverse neighborhood shopping, services, and cultural facilities that will serve to enhance overall business activity and pedestrian activity in the area.
