APPROVAL OF THE NON-IMPACT EVENT KNOWN AS "RESURRECTION ON THE LAWN" TO BE HELD ON APRIL 20, 2025 AT OLD SCHOOL SQUARE AMPHITHEATER; AND TO AUTHORIZE THE SPECIAL EVENTS MANAGER TO TAKE ALL ACTIONS NECESSARY TO EFFECTUATE THE SPECIAL EVENT PERMIT.

Recommended Action:
Special Events Technical Advisory Committee (SETAC) recommends the Development Services Management Group (DSMG) make a motion to approve the special event known as Resurrection on the Lawn to be held on April 20, 2025; and authorize the Special Event Manager (SEM) to take all actions necessary to effectuate the Special Event Permit.

Background:
St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church submitted a Special Event Permit Application on June 11, 2024. This event wasn't seen at SETAC until February due to an outstanding balance that was not paid until January. The church is seeking to hold an Easter service and celebration. The event will include children's activities, games and an egg hunt. The church has held this event for 5 years prior with the last one held in 2024 without any issues. The anticipated attendance is 75-100 people. There will be two tents and chairs available for people to sit for the service. The event will also feature live music on the stage. This event will take place from 7:00am - 1:00pm.

Anticipated city costs to the event producer to be determined.
