Recommended Action:
Recommendation
Motion to approve Resolution No. 155-23 to award an agreement with RenoSys Corp. to perform pool liner repair and replacement at Pompey Park Pool pursuant to Invitation to Bid No. 2023-056 in the estimated amount of $82,688; authorizing the City Manager to execute any amendments and to effectuate this agreement contingent upon appropriation of funds.

Body
Background:
The City entered into a reimbursable Grant Agreement with the Florida Department of Environment Protection from the Florida Legislature through Specific Appropriation Line Item 1755A General Appropriations Act. One of the listed project elements is pool resurfacing and improvements to the pool equipment.

Pompey Park Pool is located at 1101 NW 2nd Street. The main pool is 220,000 gallons and 8,000 sq feet and is used by the community, After School Programs, and Camps for recreation in addition to being location that accepts Palm Beach County Learn to Swim vouchers for free swim lessons. The facility is also a dive training facility for the Fire Department and local businesses. The pool is in need of repairs and resurfacing in order to remain a healthy and safe environment for patrons. The pool liner will increase the life of the pool with minimal downtime.

On May 25, 2023, an Invitation to Bid (ITB) was advertised for Pool Liner Repair and Replacement. The City received three (3) submittals from Aumiller Pools, ZTI-LLC., and RenoSys Corp. in response to the ITB. RenSys Corp. was deemed the lowest and most responsive bidder.
