Background:
Florida Bicycle Month, celebrated each year in March, provides an opportunity for the City of Delray Beach to recognize its long history of welcoming and accommodating bicycles whether for health, transportation, or recreational purposes. A bicycle is a cost effective, efficient, sustainable, and fun way to move about; many people in Delray Beach use bicycles as part of a normal, everyday activity.
The City of Delray Beach is committed to improving safety for bicyclists, and joins cyclists, the Palm Beach TPA, many other municipalities throughout the State of Florida, and private organizations in celebrating Florida Bicycle Month in March 2026.
