Motion to ratify actions approved by South Central Regional Wastewater Treatment and Disposal Board (SCRWTDB) at its quarterly meeting held on April 25, 2026, and approval of the FY2026-2027 proposed budget.

Background:
On April 26, 2025, South Central Regional Wastewater Treatment and Disposal Board (Board), held its quarterly and annual meeting. By a vote of 5-0, gave authorization to establish a wastewater user rate at $1.25/1,000 GALLONS, an overall increase of $0.04 for (Operation and Maintenance rate of $1.17, and Repair and Replacement rate of $0.08), shared equally with the City of Delray Beach and Boynton Beach for FY2026-2027, and to fund Debt Service annual payment of $600,000 based on ownership.
The Board also gave authorization to establish a reclaimed user rate of $0.25/1,000 GALLONS, an overall increase of $0.01 to customers of Delray Beach, Boynton Beach, and South Central Regional for Fiscal Year 2026-2027.
This motion is being presented to the City of Delray Beach for ratification.
This motion is in accordance with Code of Ordinances Section 36.02, Commission Approval Required.
