REVIEW OF APPEALABLE LAND DEVELOPMENT BOARD ACTIONS:

Body

Recommended Action:

Recommendation

Motion to Accept the actions and decisions made by the Land Development Boards for the period November 23, 2015 through December 18, 2015.

Body

Background:

This is the method of informing the City Commission of the land use actions taken by designated Boards which may be appealed to the City Commission. After this meeting, the appeal period shall expire (unless the 10-day appeal period has not occurred).  Section 2.4.7(E), Appeals, of the LDRs applies. In summary, it provides that the City Commission hear appeals of actions taken by an approving Board. It also provides that the City Commission may file an appeal. To do so:

The item must be raised by a Commission member.

By motion, an action must be taken to place the item on the next meeting of the Commission as an appealed item.

The actions of the Site Plan Review and Appearance Board and Historic Preservation Board are reported in the attached City Commission Report.

City Attorney Review:

Approved as to form and legal sufficiency.

Timing of Request:

Action must be taken by the City Commission at the next available meeting following the Boards actions.
