REVIEW OF APPEALABLE LAND DEVELOPMENT BOARD ACTIONS FOR JANUARY 19, 2016 THROUGH JANUARY 29, 2016

Motion to Accept the actions and decisions made by the Land Development Boards for the period January 19, 2016 through January 29, 2016.

 

Body

Background:

 

Section 2.4.7(E), Appeals, of the LDRs applies. This is the method of informing the City Commission of the land use actions which may be appealed to the City Commission. After this meeting, the Commission’s appeal opportunity shall expire.  An appeal by an aggrieved party must be made within 10 working days of the action. To appeal:

 

                     The item must be raised by a Commission member.

                     By motion, an affirmative action must be taken to place the item on the next available meeting of the Commission as an appealed item.

 

During this period the Site Plan Review and Appearance Board considered the following projects. For each item, a project report including the Site Plan Review and Appearance Board Staff Report is attached with a brief description below. No other Boards took action on any application during this period.

 

 

ITEM A. Martini Property

 

REQUEST:                     Class V Site Plan and Landscape Plan associated with the construction of a driveway and loading spaces.

 

BOARD ACTION:                     Approved the Class V Site Plan and Landscape Plan with conditions (6 to 1), Andrew Youngross dissenting.

 

 

ITEM B. Fourth and Fifth Delray (IPIC)

 

REQUEST:                     Class V Site Plan, Landscape Plan and Architectural Elevations associated with the construction of a movie theater, office and retail.

 

BOARD ACTION:                     Approved the Class V Site Plan with conditions (5 to 2), Andrew Youngross and Jose Aguila dissenting. Approved the Landscape Plan with conditions (6 to 1) Andrew Youngross dissenting. Approved the Architectural Elevations (5 to 2), Andrew Youngross and Jose Aguila dissenting.

 

 

ITEM C. Wood and Fire Restaurant

 

REQUEST:                     Class III Site Plan Modification, Landscape Plan and Architectural Elevations for exterior and interior renovations.

 

BOARD ACTION:                     Approved the Class III Site Plan Modification with conditions, Landscape Plan and Architectural Elevations (7 to 0).

 

 

ITEM D. Atlantic Crossing

 

REQUEST:                     Class II Site Plan Modification and Landscape Plan associated with the construction of a one-way driveway and the installation of associated landscaping.

 

BOARD ACTION:                     Denied the Class II Site Plan Modification (5 to 1), Andrew Youngross stepped down and James Chard dissenting. Denied the Landscape Plan (6 to 0), Andrew Youngross stepped down.
