Motion to Approve an amendment to extend the Agreement with JCD Sports Group, Inc. for sixty days through February 28, 2017 for Consulting Services to develop strategies to attract special events, for event management, and to assist in the development of additional revenue sources for the City of Delray Beach Tennis Center Agreement.

Background:
On April 27, 2015, City Commission approved the award of an agreement for Consulting Services for the Purpose of Attracting Special Events to the Tennis Center Event Management and for the Purpose of Identifying and Assisting in Development of Additional Revenue Sources for the City of Delray Beach Tennis Center. On September 22, 2016 the City Manager extended the Agreement for a period of ninety days through December 31, 2016. City Staff is requesting an additional extension of the Agreement through February 28, 2017 to allow the City ample time to complete contract negotiations and enter into a new Agreement for Consulting Services for the City of Delray Beach Tennis Center.
This recommendation complies with the City Code of Ordinances, Chapter 36, Section 36.07 (A)(2), "Extensions".
