Motion to Reject all bids received in response to ITB 2017-017 for safety supplies for the City Central Warehouse inventory.

Background:
On November 8, 2016, Bid 2017-017 was advertised. Nine bids were received in response to the solicitation with only one bid deemed responsive and responsible.
The Purchasing Department is requesting City Commission to reject all bids in response to ITB 2017-017. The Purchasing Department will modify the bid requirements to allow for alternate items to be bid and resolicit for these items.
This recommendation complies with the City Code of Ordinances, Chapter 36, Section 36.02(A)(4), "City's Reservation of Rights".
