Motion to Approve an amendment to extend the Agreement with BJCE, Inc. for Municipal Golf Club and Lakeview Golf Club Management Agreement for ninety days through April 30, 2017.

Background:
On September 28, 2004, City Commission approved the award of an Agreement for Municipal Golf Club and Lakeview Golf Club Management. On January 10, 2017, the City Commission extended the Agreement for a period of thirty days, extending the contract term through January 31, 2017. City staff is requesting an additional extension of the Agreement through April 30, 2017 to allow the City ample time to complete contract negotiations and enter into a new Agreement for Municipal Golf Club and Lakeview Golf Club Management.
This recommendation complies with the City Code of Ordinances, Section 36.07 (A)(2), "Extensions".

Approved as to form and legal sufficiency.
Finance Department Review:
Finance recommends approval.
Funding Source:
Funding is available from account number 445-4711-572.34-90 (Delray Beach Municipal Golf Course Fund: Other Contractual Services) and 446-4711-572.34-90 (Lakeview Golf Course Fund: Other Contractual Services).
Timing of Request:
This agreement expires on January 31, 2017. They must be renewed so that management services can continue.
