Motion to approve purchase awards to Stingray Chevrolet, LLC for two 2017 Chevy Tahoet PPV Utility vehicles (specification #8), to Duval Ford, LLC for one 017 Ford T-250 Transit Cargo Van (specification #37), and to Hub City Ford-Mercury, Inc. for two 2017 Ford Utility Interceptor Vehicles (specification #6) and one Ford Connect passenger van (specification #38) for the Fire-Rescue Department in the amount of $192,189 utilizing the Florida Sheriff's Association Contract #FSA16-VEH24.0.

Background:
On October 1, 2016 the Florida Sheriff's Association awarded Contract # FSA16-VEH24.0 for vehicles. The contract is valid through September 30, 2017. Awards were made for Ford, General Motors, Chrysler, and Toyota vehicles. Stingray Chevrolet, LLC is an authorized Chevrolet dealership. Duval Ford, LLC and Hub City Ford-Mercury, Inc. are authorized Ford dealerships. All three dealerships honor the Florida Sheriff's Association contract pricing.
The Fire-Rescue Department, is requesting approval to purchase these vehicles to be added to the Department fleet in Fiscal Year 2017.
This motion is in accordance with City Code of Ordinances, Chapter 36, Section 36.02(C)(7), “Utilization of Other Governmental Entities’ Contracts”.
