Motion to retroactively approve Amendment No. 1 with Alexis Knight Architects, Inc., for architectural compliance review for properties in the Beach Overlay District in an amount not-to-exceed $20,000.

Background:
On April 29, 2014, the City issued a one-year Agreement for architectural compliance review for properties in the Beach Overlay District (ITB No. 2014-08) effective through April 28, 2015 with two, one-year renewals.
The first renewal through April 28, 2016 and the second renewal through April 28, 2017 were not presented to Commission for approval, however Alexis Knight has continued to provide services under the Agreement terms and conditions. The consultant services supplement services provided by Planning and Zoning staff and include verification of lot addresses, review of certified and sealed architectural and landscape plans and calculations, and review of projects for compliance with all Design Manual Regulations in the Beach Overlay District. Amendment No. 1 will renew the Agreement from April 28, 2015 thorough April 28, 2017.
This recommendation complies with the City Code of Ordinances, Section 36.07 (A)(3), "Renewals".
