Motion to grant a utility easement to Florida Power and Light to replace and existing power pole with a pad mounted transformer and buried power line located in the alley just south of the 505 Teen Center and adjacent to the “Downtown Delray Professional Centre”.

Background:

Florida Power and Light has requested a utility easement from the City in order to replace the existing power pole in the alley just south of the 505 Teen Center and adjacent to the “Downtown Delray Professional Centre” with a pad mounted transformer and buried power line.  The developer of the  “Downtown Delray Professional Centre” has provided the necessary survey documents at their expense in order to facilitate this process. Establishing electric service with the pad mounted transformer and buried lines benefits the City.

Timing of Request:
