Award of an Agreement to Shenandoah General Construction Company in an annual not-to-exceed amount of $620,000, utilizing the City of West Palm Beach Contract No. 16299 for televising and cleaning sanitary and stormwater sewer systems, and associated components through September 20, 2018.

Background:
On September 21, 2015 the City of West Palm Beach awarded Contract No. 16299 to Shenandoah General Construction Company for Sanitary Sewer and Stormwater Rehabilitation and Infrastructure Repair. The contract term was for three years, through September 20, 2018, with renewal options for two additional one-year periods. The Water and Sewer Network Division of Public Utilities/Environmental Services Department programmed the use of contract services for sanitary and stormwater sewer systems inspections and maintenance/improvements services in their annual operating budget. This contract service provides resources for promptly televising, cleaning, and evaluating conditions of sanitary and stormwater sewer systems that may have been experiencing operational issues. These services will supplement activities performed by the Environmental Services Department Public Utilities Division.

Utilizing pricing under the City of West Palm Beach Contract the Environmental Services Department estimates annual televising, cleaning, and evaluating not to exceed $620,000. The scope of work consists of televising, cleaning, and evaluating conditions of sanitary and stormwater sewer systems. .
