Body

Background:

On January 11, 2017, a Request for Proposals No. 2017-028 was advertised. Three proposals were received. Three proposals were received from Advanced Roofing, Inc. DBA Advanced Air Systems, American Network Construction, LLC and Johnson Controls, Inc The proposal from Johnson Controls was deemed non-responsive.

The proposals from Advanced Roofing and American Network were evaluated based up on the criteria in the RFP. Interviews were conducted with Advanced Roofing, Inc. DBA Advanced Air Systems. American Network Construction, LLC was invited via email and contacted several times by phone but did not attend the interview. Final evaluations were conducted on March 22, 2017. Scores for the two firms, based on a possible 100 points, were as follows:

Firm                                                                                    Score

Advanced Roofing                                          61.3

American Network                                          61

The committee determined that based upon their evaluations and scoring of the proposals, it would be in the best interest of the City to reject all responses.
