DBA Alan Jay Chevrolet Buick GMC Cadillac, and Hub City Ford-Mercury, Inc., for the purchase of 27 vehicles for a total of $774,919, utilizing Florida Sheriff’s Association Contract #FSA16-VEL24.0.

Background:
On October 1, 2016, the Florida Sheriff's Association awarded Contract #FSA16-VEH24.0 for vehicles. The contract is valid through September 30, 2017. Awards were made for Ford, Chevrolet, and Nissan vehicles. Duval Ford, LLC and Hub City Ford-Mercury, Inc. are authorized Ford dealerships. Alan Jay Chevrolet Cadillac, Inc. d/b/a Alan Jay Chevrolet Buick GMC Cadillac is an authorized Chevrolet dealership. Allan Jay Nissan, Inc. is an authorized Nissan dealership. All four dealerships honor the Florida Sheriff's Association contract pricing.
The Environmental Services Department, Fleet Division is requesting approval to purchase 27 vehicles from these four dealerships to be added to the City fleet in Fiscal Year 2017 as replacements for old vehicles.
Duval Ford, LLC, Alan Jay Nissan, Inc., Alan Jay Chevrolet Cadillac, Inc. DBA Alan Jay Chevrolet Buick GMC Cadillac, and Hub City Ford-Mercury, Inc. have certified that the prices offered are the lowest to any other governmental entity within the State of Florida.
This recommendation complies with the City Code of Ordinances, Chapter 36, Sections 36.02(C)(7) “Utilization of Other Governmental Entities’ Contracts”.
