Motion to Approve Service Authorization No. 12-24 to Wantman Group, Inc. (WGI) in the amount not-to-exceed $35,998.50 for the professional engineering, public outreach, and construction administration services related to the HVAC improvements to the Old School Square: Gymnasium, Crest Theater, and Cornell Museum. (Project No. 17-092).

Background:
On January 24, 2012, the City entered into an Agreement with WGI for continuing general engineering consulting services (RFQ 2012-06). On December 13, 2016 City Commission approved the renewal of the agreement through June 2017. Under this service authorization WGI will provide professional engineering and construction administration services related to the Old School Square HVAC Improvements which include the following:
1) DX System for the Gymnasium (Fieldhouse)
2) DX System for the Cornell Museum
3) DX System for the Crest Theater
4) Specifications
5) Construction document preparation, cost estimates, project bidding, public outreach, and construction administration.
Total estimated cost for services under Service Authorization No. 12-24 is in the amount not to exceed $35,998.50. All tasks will be completed by May 31, 2018.
This recommendation complies with the City Code of Ordinances, Section 36.02(C) (3), "Professional Services".
