RETROACTIVE APPROVAL OF AMENDMENT NO. 1 WITH EARTHLY DESIGNS & RESOURCES, INC. D/B/A MOBILE LAWN SERVICE FOR LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE SERVICES

Body

Recommended Action:

Recommendation

Motion to Retroactively Approve Amendment No. 1 to renew the Agreement with Earthly Designs & Resources, Inc. d/b/a Mobile Lawn Service through April 13, 2018 in an annual not-to-exceed amount of $58,200.

Body

Background:

On April 6, 2015, Commission approved an agreement with Earthly Designs & Resources, Inc d/b/a Mobile Lawn Service for landscape maintenance services effective April 13, 2015 through April 12, 2016 to perform landscape maintenance along Congress Avenue North to Lake Ida; Homewood Boulevard, Linton Boulevard, and three medians on Military Trail.  The Agreement approved was for an annual not-to-exceed amount of $58,200, with the option to renew for two additional one-year periods.  For fiscal years 2016 and 2017 the renewal inadvertently was not presented to Commission for approval.  However, Earthly Designs & Resources, Inc. continued to provide services under the Agreement terms and conditions.

Amendment No. 1 will exercise both one-year options and renew the Agreement term through April 12, 2018 in an annual not-to-exceed amount of $58,200.
