Motion to Approve Amendment No. 1 to West Architecture & Design, LLC in an amount not to exceed $14,500 for architectural consulting services for the Historic Delray Beach Railway Station (Project #17-007).

Body

Background:

On January 10, 2017 Commission approved an agreement with West Architecture & Design, LLC (WAD) for architectural consulting services for the Historic Delray Beach Railway Station in a not-to-exceed amount of $148,690.  To date, the City has paid WAD $28,500 for professional services rendered through May 1, 2017.

A decreased scope of work has been requested of WAD to perform only specific work relating to the structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing deficiencies of the railway station along with a cost estimate for an amount not to exceed $14,500 (reduce Purchase Order No. 708111 in the amount of $105,690):

1)                     $9,500 for the balance of the Historic Structures Report

2)                     $5,000 for the Conceptual Cost Estimate
