Recommendation
Motion to Approve an agreement with T.V. Diversified, LLC in an annual not to exceed amount of $335,000, for sanitary sewer lift station and manhole repairs and rehabilitation, utilizing the City of West Palm Beach Contract No. 14949 for Lift Station Repairs and Rehabilitation.

Body
Background:
On November 13, 2014, the City of West Palm Beach, Florida issued Contract No. 14949 (ITB 13-14-129) to T.V. Diversified for “Lift Station Repairs and Rehabilitation”. The contract is valid from November 13, 2014 through November 12, 2017, with two one-year renewal options.

The Utilities Department programmed the use of contract services for providing rehabilitation and repair services related to sanitary sewer lift stations and manholes through the Fiscal Year 2016/2017 Capital Improvement Budget. The program allows for repair and rehabilitation of these infrastructures by replacing pipes, fittings, and applying a calcium aluminate coating as a means of extending their useful life. For fiscal year 2017, staff has identified 5 lift stations and 20 manholes, varying in size from 4 to 15 feet in depth.
Utilizing the pricing under the City of West Palm Beach's contract for Lift Station Repair and Rehabilitation, the Utilities Department estimates annual restorations not to exceed $335,000. The scope of work consists of furnishing and installing riser pipes, fittings, coatings, as well as performing necessary repairs.
This recommendation complies with the City Code of Ordinances, Section 36, "Commission Approval Required", and City Policies.
