Motion to Approve the award of a four year agreement, with 5 one-year renewal options, with Home Depot U.S.A., Inc., for maintenance, repair, operating supplies, and related services utilizing the U.S. Communities Governmental Purchasing Alliance Cooperative Contract Serial 16154 (Solicitation 16154-RFP) in a not-to-exceed annual amount of $200,000.

Background:
On January 11, 2017 Maricopa County, a political subdivision of the State of Arizona, awarded a contract to Home Depot U.S.A., Inc. on behalf of the U.S. Communities Government Purchasing Alliance effective from February 1, 2017 through December 31, 2021 with renewal options for five, one-year periods (Solicitation 16154-RFP).
U.S. Communities is a government purchasing cooperative that reduces the cost of goods and services by aggregating the purchasing power of public agencies nationwide. Third party audits are performed on all contracts as well as benchmarking analyses to ensure ongoing value.
The City utilizes a variety of supplies and related products for maintenance, repairs and operations and has been obtaining these products from the Home Depot store in Delray Beach. Under the Agreement, purchases at the Delray Beach Home Depot store will receive the U.S. Communities contracted pricing. The Agreement will be effective from September 7, 2017 through December 31, 2021.

FY 2015 - $119,309
FY 2016 - $120,797
FY 2017 - $154,339 (from October 2016 - July 2017)
This recommendation complies with the City Code of Ordinances, Section 36 and City Policies and Procedures.
