Motion for City Commission to approve a resolution 64/17 and for the Mayor to execute a Locally Funded Agreement (LFA) with FDOT for SR-806/Atlantic Avenue at - SW/NW 12TH AVE. improvements.

Background:
This Resolution affirms the City’s support of the funding commitment for improvements at the SR9/I-95 and SR806/Atlantic Ave. This local share is provided by FDOT pursuant to an interlocal agreement and a Three Party Escrow Agreement.
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is anticipating to make certain improvements at the SR9/I-95 and SR806/Atlantic Ave. Interchange from the east end of the bridge at the E4 Canal to NW 12th Ave. As part of this project the City requested that the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) install two decorative lightings and stamped asphalt crosswalks at W Atlantic Ave and SW/NW 12th Avenue; The cost of converting these will be the responsibility of the City. The City asked the CRA for assistance in paying for this additional cost and the CRA agreed to contribute toward the decorative lights and stamped asphalt crosswalks. The CRA agreed to contribute $44,101.00 toward the installation of the mast arm at SW/NW 12th Avenue
