Motion to Approve a one-year Agreement with Wesco Turf, Inc. for the purchase of Lawn Equipment in a not-to-exceed amount of $75,678.58 utilizing the State of Florida, Department of Management Services Contract No. 211000000-15-1.

Background:
On September 1, 2015, State of Florida, Department of Management Services, awarded a contract to Wesco Turf, Inc. for the purchase of Agriculture and Lawn Equipment. The contract was for the period of September 1, 2015 through June 30, 2017, with a renewal option of up to three additional years. State of Florida, Department of Management Services has exercised the renewal option, extending the contract through June 30, 2020.
We are recommending the purchase of the following two pieces of equipment:
A. Toro Multi-Pro 5800 Sprayer at a cost of $46,670.57 to be used for fertilizer, herbicide and chemical applications. This computerized sprayer will improve accuracy when applying all products.
B. Toro Greensmaster 3150 at a cost of $29,008.01 to replace our current greensmower which has over 3,000 hours and is 13 years old. The new greensmower will give us a better quality cut for improved playing conditions.
This recommendation complies with the City Code of Ordinances Chapter 36, "Commission Approval Required" and Purchasing Policies, Accessing Contracts from Other Government Agencies and Not-for-Profit Organizations.
