Motion to Award an Agreement to Baxter & Woodman, Inc. DBA Mathews Consulting, a Baxter & Woodman Company for Engineering Design Services for Delray Beach SW 4^th Street, SW 6^th Street, and SW 7^th Avenue in a not-to-exceed amount of $579,257.

Background:

On January 31, 2017, a Request for Qualifications, RFQ No. 2017-032 for engineering design services; SW 4^th Street, SW 6^th Street, and SW 7^th Avenue was advertised. We received nine responsive and responsible proposals from the following firms: A.D.A. Engineering, Inc., AECOM Technical Services, Inc., Calvin, Giordano & Associates, Inc., Chen Moore and Associates, Inc., Craig A. Smith & Associates, Inc., Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc., Baxter & Woodman, Inc. DBA Mathews Consulting, a Baxter & Woodman Company, R.J. Behar & Company, Inc. and Wantman Group, Inc.

Staff recommends Baxter & Woodman, Inc. DBA Mathews Consulting, a Baxter & Woodman Company and negotiated an Agreement in a not-to-exceed amount of $579,257 for the Agreement term.

This recommendation complies with the City Purchasing Policies and Procedures Manual and the City Code of Ordinances, Chapter 36, Section 36.02 "Commission Approval Required".

Approved as to form and legal sufficiency.

Finance Department Review:

Finance recommends approval.
