Body

Background:

On November 2, 2016, the City of Delray Beach entered into agreement with Right Choice Vending for vending machine services (ITB No. 2014-74). The City of Delray requests to modify Exhibit A of the Agreement to include vending services at the Delray Beach Tennis Center and Delray Beach Swim and Tennis Club and revise the equipment at Fire Station 1, Fire Station 2 and ESD Water Treatment Plan.

Currently, refreshments offered to tennis members and patrons in house and with a vending company. The use of vending company in the retail setting is ideal. The tennis facilities will maintain, if not increase, current revenue from new vending machine services. Additionally, requirements to stock high levels of product would be reduced, eliminating waste and the need to transfer products between facilities.

This motion is on accordance with the City Code of Ordinances, Section 36 and City Policies and Procedures, Change Order and Amendments; Contracts must be amended in the same manner in with they were executed.
