Motion to Approve an Agreement between the City of Delray Beach Police Department and the Town of Highland Beach Police Department to share access to their respective License Plate Recognition Camera System (LPR) data for law enforcement purposes.

Background:

This Agreement will allow the Delray Beach Police Department to be entitled to access, through agents and employees of the Delray Beach Police Department, the License Plate Recognition (LPR) data collected by Highland Beach Police Department’s camera system located on State Road A1A at the south entry/exit to the Town of Highland Beach. Both Police Departments will have joint access to the License Plate Recognition (LPR) data located at the north entry/exit to the Town of Highland Beach.
