Motion to approve the Interlocal Agreement between the City of Delray Beach and the Delray Beach Community Redevelopment Agency.

Background:
Currently, the salaries of Fire Inspectors that perform fire inspections on businesses within the boundaries of the Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) are funded from the City’s General Fund. If approved, this Agreement with the CRA would fund the position of a Fire Inspector and, in exchange, the Fire Inspector would be dedicated to performing fire inspections within the CRA boundaries.
