Discussion of possible options to provide transportation alternatives in the City of Delray Beach (City) downtown area and to provide direction on which option(s) City Staff is to proceed with implementing.

Background:
The City Commission has expressed a desire to explore alternative transportation methods to the Downtown Roundabout Trolley service in the downtown area. The feeling is that the Downtown Trolley service is not meeting the needs of the community. As a result, City Staff will provide a presentation at the November 7 City Commission meeting proposing potential alternatives. After the presentation, City Staff will be seeking direction on what service should be implemented. City Staff will then implement a pilot project for the preferred alternative which funding has been provided by the Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA).
