Body
Background:
On January 7, 2015 the City of Delray Beach (City) issued Bid 2015-20 -Annual Contract- Landscape Maintenance Lake Ida Medians & George Bush Blvd. The City received two (2) responses on January 28, 2015, from L. V. Superior Landscaping and Earthly Designs and Resources, Inc. The City awarded the bid to the lowest priced vendor, L. V. Superior Landscaping, Inc. The bid award was in accordance with the Code of Ordinances No. 29-13 and Sec. 36.02 Methods of Acquisition. On April 8, 2015, the City issued an agreement for service for one year to L. V. Superior Landscaping, Inc. (ITB No. 2015-20) effective through April 7, 2016 with the option to renew for two consecutive one-year terms.

The first renewal, effective April 8, 2016 through April 7, 2017, was not presented to the City Commission for approval; however L. V. Superior Landscaping, Inc. continued to provide services under the Agreement terms and conditions. The City and L. V. Superior Landscaping, Inc. have mutually agreed to exercise the second renewal option. Amendment 1 will renew the Agreement for two years through April 7, 2018 in an amount not-to-exceed $48,022.
