Motion to Terminate and Accept a Water Main Easement granted by Walmart Stores East, LP for the Walmart Liquor Box Store Expansion project at 16205 S. Military Trail.

Background:
On May 16, 2017, the City Commission accepted an Easement granted by Walmart located at 16025 S. Military Trail. The easement was necessary to relocate an existing water main for the City’s access. However, during construction of the liquor store addition, the water main was not installed within the easement area, rather just over a few feet. Accordingly, a new easement is necessary in order to provide for the appropriate legal description of the actual location of the water main.
