Motion to approve Education Board nomination for appointment of one (1) regular member to serve an unexpired term ending July 31, 2019.
Body
Background:
There is a vacancy on the Education Board due to Mr. Ryan Boylston being elected to the City Commission. The term is unexpired ending July 31, 2019. Nomination for appointment is needed for one (1) regular member to serve an unexpired term ending July 31, 2019.
Members of the Education Board must be a resident of the City, own property, own or operate a business within the City or have a child attending Delray Beach public schools. It is the intent, whenever possible, that the membership includes persons with a background in business, real estate and/or education.
The following individuals have submitted applications and would like to be considered for appointment:

A check for code violations and/or municipal liens was conducted. None were found. Voter registration verification were completed, and all are registered.
Based on the rotation system, the nomination for appointment will be made by Commissioner Bathurst (Seat #2) for one (1) regular member to serve an unexpired term ending July 31, 2019.
