Body

Recommended Action:

Recommendation

Motion to approve Resolution 57-18 declaring the City Commission as the Community Redevelopment Agency.

Body

Background:

On April 3, 2018, the City Commission adopted Resolution 53-18 declaring itself to be the Community Redevelopment Agency.   The City's regulations governing the CRA were not amended at that time.  Ordinances amending such CRA regulations have now been adopted.  Additionally, the City Commission desires to revise the manner in which the CRA Board Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson are chosen and the make-up of the CRA Board itself. Accordingly, it is recommended that Resolution 57-18 be adopted at this time. It shall supercede and replace Resolution 53-18.
