Background:
The CRA entered into an Interlocal Agreement (ILA) with the City of Delray Beach for the funding of the trolley service operations for FY 2017-2018 in an amount not to exceed $475,000. Per Section 2 of the ILA, the City is required to provide a quarterly report detailing the City’s expenses incurred with respect to the operations of the trolley service, as well as ridership information for each route, including ridership per day, per route. Attached please find the City’s Trolley Ridership Reports from February through March 2018. The January report from Unique Transportation is unavailable as the City was in the process of transitioning to a new trolley operator.
During the 2nd Quarter of FY2017-2018 the ridership was as follows:
Route #1 Ridership 12,512
Route #2 Ridership 14,625
Total Ridership 27,137
