Motion to approve Resolution 52-18 Agreement between the City of Delray Beach and the Community Child Care Center of Delray Beach, Inc. for funding and operation of after school programs at Pine Grove Elementary and Village Academy.

Background:

 

The action now before the City Commission is to approve Resolution 52-18, which provides for the funding and operation of after school programs at Pine Grove Elementary and Village Academy associated with the Triparty Agreement (Resolution 51-18) as described in Exhibit A.

 

The new Funding Agreement being approved under Resolution 52-18 is between the City of Delray Beach and  Community Child Care Center of Delray Beach (d/b/a Achievement Centers for Children and Families -“ACCF”) to provide an annual amount of $62,000. That amount includes the $52,000 being dedicated from Amendment No. 1 of the Service Providers Agreement and $10,000 from a Community Improvement line item to support the summer reading program as part of our partnership for the Campaign for Grade Level Reading.

 

City Attorney Review:

Approved as to form and legal sufficiency.

 

Funding Source/Financial Impact:
